| Hi, My name is Trushita Patel, I was born and brought up in India. My traditional upbringing played a crucial role in moulding me into a woman of classic taste. During my schooling and graduation, I was exposed to the diversity of the great Indian culture essentially embodied in aspects like food, customs, arts and crafts. The rich and vast repertoire of knowledge and experience available in abundance in such fields as cooking, knitting, stitching or Mehndi gave avid learners like me enough opportunity to acquire special skills. Mehndi has been my passion since my childhood. It started as a hobby during the summer vacation that continued into the beginners course. What started as a useful way to kill time soon became an all-consuming passion. The fire in my heart to give the bridal hands the beauty and classic look that their momentous occasion demanded became fierce. That motivated me to take up the advanced bridal course as well. I always had an unquenchable thirst to learn the different arts and crafts of India and thus my dream to pursue and get a diploma in Fashion Designing as well as a degree in Textile designing soon became a reality. I started my own boutique for custom designed Indo Western outfits but sadly had to shut it down in 2003 as changes in my life warranted my shifting to US in 2004. I am now back to the greatest passion of my life , my Mehndi business. I enjoy doing intricate bridal designs and have self taught various styles of henna designs.
